Elizabeth Smith 
Secretary-General
Elizabeth Smith has been the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association’s Secretary-General since 1994. Before this, Elizabeth was Controller of English Programmes for BBC World Service. Elizabeth has also served as a Producer and Executive in News and Current Affairs for BBC Radio and Television.

Sally-Ann Wilson 
Deputy Secretary General
After training in BBC Radio, Sally-Ann Wilson spent 20 years as a factual TV Producer / Director for the BBC, Granada and Discovery. From 1998-2001 Sally-Ann managed a major international broadcast output deal. She joined the CBA in 2001 to set up the CBA-DFID Broadcast Media Scheme of which she is Project Director.

Jasmine Dhariwal 
Director of Training and Bursaries
Jasmine Dhariwal began her media career working for BBC Local Radio as a researcher and a presenter and later moved to BBC Television’s Asian Programmes Department. Jasmine has extensive experience producing specialist programming and events and was also seconded for 2 years to work as Head of Production for Youth Culture TV and Timebank. Jasmine has been the Director of Training and Bursaries for the CBA since 2005.

Adam Weatherhead 
Project Manager
Adam Weatherhead has worked for the CBA since March 2007. Previously he worked in community radio in Toronto, Canada and Melbourne, Australia. He holds a BSc from Monash University and is currently completing an MBA at London Metropolitan Business School.

Mandy Turner 
Researcher
Mandy Turner has worked for the CBA since graduating from Cardiff University in 2008. She holds a BA (Hons) degree in Journalism, Film and Media. During her degree she completed work placements at BBC Wales, as a Newsgathering Assistant and at Keep Wales Tidy, as a Media Researcher. She has also worked as a Marketing Coordinator for a non-profit travel company.

Mervyn Warner 
Finance Consultant, CBA & Programme Finance Manager WorldView
Mervyn Warner, FCCA, joined CBA in 2003. He began his television career in 1976 at ITV regional broadcaster, Anglia TV. From 1976-2001 his roles within ITV included Group Financial Accountant and subsidiary Company Director. His responsibilities included group accounts, programme production and international distribution. Since 2001, in addition to CBA, he works with a number of producers and production companies.

Neil Dormand 
Technology Consultant
Neil Dormand is the CBA’s Technology Consultant. Previous to this, Neil spent 35 years as a cameraman, trainer and manager for the BBC. His final role there was for BBC News as General Manager Technology and Production Services. Neil has held a number of directorships in broadcast related companies and is a member of the IBC Conference Committee and Chairman of the Thames Valley Centre and the Royal Television Society.

Linda Hutchings 
Project Manager, CBA-DFID Broadcast Media Scheme
Linda Hutchings spent 30 years working at the BBC as a floor manager and a PA on documentary features. She also has experience working on live studio programmes and in busy newsrooms. Linda joined the CBA as Project Manager in 2006 and deals with the Travel Bursary Fund.

Marion Simpson 
Project Manager, CBA-DFID Broadcast Media Scheme
Marion Simpson, before joining the CBA in 2003 worked in television for over ten years, including 3 years Production Manager for Survival Animal Planet Unit. Marion works as the Project Manager for the Broadcast Media Scheme preparing for the launch of the "WorldView" scheme and is responsible for the Programme Development Fund.

Thomas Mills 
Webmaster
Thomas Mills is the CBA’s Webmaster. Currently, he is completing a Computer Science BSc at Goldsmiths University in London. Having worked with computers for the past several years, mainly creating and editing websites, he began at the CBA in the summer of 2009.
