What is the International Programme Bank?

The Bank is a new and innovative way of sharing TV programmes. One of the CBA's aims is to improve the availability of quality broadcasting around the world, particularly in developing countries. The Bank is one way of achieving this.

How does the Bank work?

CBA member stations submit programmes free of licence fee charge. Other members wishing to obtain programmes can do so after signing up to the Programme Bank's Terms & Conditions.

How are programmes distributed?

Programmes are distributed on professional broadcast tape by post or courier.

What sort of programmes does the Bank hold?

We welcome all genres of programming, but particularly those dealing with health, education, welfare, children and the environment.

Are all programmes in English?

No. We will consider submissions and requests in languages other than English.

How do I get involved?

The first step is to register interest in the Bank on behalf of your organisation. Please fill out the form on our registration page.
