World Radiocommunication Conference 2012
World radiocommunication conferences (WRC) are held every three to four years. It is the job of WRC to review, and, if necessary, revise the Radio Regulations, the international treaty governing the use of the radio-frequency spectrum and the geostationary-satellite and non-geostationary-satellite orbits. Revisions are made on the basis of an agenda determined by the ITU Council, which takes into account recommendations made by previous world radiocommunication conferences.

Broadcast Engineering Society Expo 2012
18th International Conference & Exhibition on Terrestrial and Satellite Broadcasting. BES EXPO 2012: Conference & Exhibition on Terrestrial & Satellite Broadcasting is the eighteenth in the series of events to be organised by Broadcast Engineering Society (India). The event follows BES EXPO 2011 which was appreciated by exhibitors as well as visitors attending the exhibition. Nearly 300 companies from 25 countries displayed their products in BES EXPO 2011 directly or through their dealers in India. Exhibiting companies included those from Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, U.K. and U.S.A.
