Pakistan launches English music radio in stereo
PLANET-FM-94, the first channel of Radio Pakistan whose programmes are being broadcast in digital stereo, has now launched.
Murtaza Solangi, director general of the Radio Pakistan, inaugurated the English music channel. He said that after introduction of this new technology, the broadcast of FM-94 would be heard more clearly than before. He said that the Radio Pakistan had been taking several measures to improve the standard of its broadcast.
The broadcasting of FM-94 will be clearly heard in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and in adjoining areas with stereo quality through a new special transmitter.
